Why drink sorrel?

Dive in to this deep red, cold brewed, sorrel and ginger cooler. Sorrel is a Caribbean classic, served across the West Indies and it is jam packed with antioxidant nutrients. Back in the day our grandmother would boil the dried sorrel leaves to extract the flavour but we’ve found that cold brewing over night has just as good a result without destroying any of the goodness with heat. We fell in love with sorrel all over again when we learned of the health benefits via @nutrition_facts_org ( they are the lick for anyone who wants to eat their way to good health!). Research has shown that Sorrel can even help with hypertension, more commonly known as high blood pressure. This is something that effects many people across the Caribbean and the world.
